Chapter 8

Ani walked beside her two mates into the large living room area of their house. The word their was going to take some getting used to, but she’d decided somewhere along her seventh or eighth orgasm, that she was going to hold on to these two incredible males for as long as she could.

“Forever, mate. You will have us forever,” Brody, her sexy as fuck Alpha Wolf growled, and kissed her hand where he held it in his much larger and warmer one.

Ani bit her lip nervously. She sighed as Mayne wrapped his arm around her waist, and the three of them stilled for a moment. Believing was seeing for some people, and for Ani it was feeling. Whatever happened, she knew in her heart she was head over heels for her men.

Her immensely powerful Alpha and Omega who ran the Big River Pack under the guise of their corporation, Big River Ranch. She was nervous, excited, and completely in awe of the size of their operation. Now, they wanted to introduce her to the Pack.

A real, honest-to-God Wolf Pack, right in the middle of San Antonio, Texas. She could hardly wrap her mind around it. But after years of searching for happiness, Ani was finally ready to take the chance. It might be difficult for her family and friends to understand, and she might lose some of them in the long run.

“I am so sorry, sweetheart. But anyone who deserts you never deserved you to begin with.”

Mayne’s empathic abilities were going to take some getting used to, but she had to admit the gorgeous Bear Shifter had touched her in so many ways already. And she didn’t mean physically, though, yeah, he’d done that too. They both had.

Yummy sigh.

“And we will again and again, gorgeous,” Brody growled, leading her to one of three large, plush chairs in the center of the room.

“What’s going to happen again?” Ani asked, worrying her lower lip with her teeth.

“As the Alpha of the Big River Pack, I will introduce you to our Wolves today. You see, unlike traditional Shifter groups, I do not rule alone. We are a Triad, and the first for these parts.”

“Won’t they be upset?”

“No,” Brody answered quickly.

“Actually, there has been some dissension among the Wolves about us being a Triad but that was long before we met you. When it was first discovered that Brody and I were both destined to be partners, some Wolves were upset. Especially because I am not a Wolf.”

“Mayne, we don’t need to—”

“Hey, I am right here,” Ani said, narrowing her eyebrows. “Look, I get that you are this big growly Alpha and you want to protect me, but I need to know the truth. And as for you,” she added with a pointed look at Mayne. “I appreciate you being concerned for me, but I can handle Brody.”

“Can you? Prove it,” the big man growled, his mind obviously in the gutter as he walked her backward until she was forced to sit down.
